I πŸ’œ the Orlando Temple

This week was full of so many tender mercies and beautiful miracles!

We worked hard preparing for Pedro's baptism. We wanted it to be the most spiritual baptism ever. Pedro is married to a Less-Active (now
re-activated) woman whose father was a pillar in the Semoran Ward before he passed away a year ago. He tried sharing the gospel with everyone he knew. I completely credit him for Pedro's readiness. So we wanted this baptism to be special for him because we knew how much he wanted to see Pedro be baptized. Well all the hard work paid off! It was an amazing baptism. Pedro invited his whole family (all non
members) and many from his wife's family. One of the family members came up to me after and told me something happened that he couldn't explain. He said that he could feel so strongly the presence of Hermano RoldΓ‘n. He felt that there was something different about this church and he liked it.
Pedro was so happy! I have never seen anyone more ready to make that covenant than him.

Friday was one of the most tender days of my entire mission.  I got to go to the temple with all the other departing Elders and Sisters.
After the session we went into the sealing room with President and Sister Clark and a member of the temple presidency. They gave us some parting words of advice to go to the temple often and to always be worthy. I felt an overwhelming peace in the temple that I did my best.
I have no regrets. Whatever shortcomings I had, my wonderful savior Jesus Christ made up the difference.

After the temple we did some studies and then Pedro and Maritza picked us up to go back to the temple for a temple tour. It was the sweetest thing to walk the temple grounds with them the night before his baptism. We talked about how his focus should be the temple. We "put him on date" to go to the temple a year after his baptism so they can be sealed.

I cried walking around the temple grounds. I love the Orlando Temple so much. I was privilege to serve 6 months of my mission around the temple. It is my sacred place. I will ALWAYS be worthy of the temple and I encourage each of you to do the same.

I'll be sending one final email next week so stay tuned! For all those interested my farewell will be April 29th at 1:00. Stay tuned for the address...... I guess there is also going to be a little open house the night before (Saturday the 28th) at 6:30 at 295 E 1650 S. I am excited to see you all again! Please remember though, I love my mission with my whole heart!!!!!
